The tripod is unbelievable for the price. I am an independent film maker and I decided to build a crane for my HD video camera because the retail price is from $800 to many thousands of dollars. I built a sturdy user friendly crane with the CST/Berger tripod as a base and it works as good as the multi thousand dollar cranes.
